Chinese Martial Arts

There are a number of wushu / kung fu and tai chi teachers and practitioners in the Knoxville and East Tennessee area, and many local festivals have exciting demonstrations that show the power and beauty of Chinese Martial Arts. We encourage you start studying today!
The East Tennessee Wushu Team has wushu classes and gives performances and demonstrations in the Knoxville and East Tennessee region. Coach Michael Smith teaches wushu as practiced in the North of China.
The East Tennessee Tai Chi Team has Tai Chi classes and gives performances and demonstrations in the Knoxville and East Tennessee region. Coach Michael Smith teaches Yang-style and Chen-style tai chi.
Wah Lum Kung Fu offers Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu in Knoxville, with instruction and performances in Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Lion Dancing by Sifu Leroy Kautz.
